Activating the Conciliation System Initiative Status: Completed

The goal of this initiative is to resolve various disputes by establishing an integrated system that offers conciliation services for settling disputes between parties.

Integrated Case Management System Initiative Status: Completed

This initiative seeks to achieve a comprehensive digital transformation of all litigation procedures by automating the entire system.

Establishment of the Unified Translation Center Initiative Status: Completed

An integrated translation center has been established to provide remote interpreting services during court hearings, serving all Saudi courts and judicial facilities.

Implementing the Judicial Costs Law Initiative Status: Completed

This initiative aims to reduce the number of lawsuits brought to court by implementing preventive measures to minimize disputes. Additionally, it develops models, procedures, and mechanisms for managing and paying litigation fees.

Integrated Enforcement System Initiative Status: Completed

The goal of this initiative is to enhance the enforcement judiciary system by creating centralized units for administrative, procedural, and financial operations across the Kingdom. It also focuses on technical developments in systems and infrastructure to support these activities.

Establishment of Judicial Service Centers Initiative Status: Completed

This initiative focuses on applying best practices to improve client experience and developing a system for providing judicial services. It includes operating a unified call center and monitoring performance in judicial operations rooms, assisting decision-makers with accurate, real-time data. This also helps reduce client traffic at other judicial facilities, enhance service quality, and increase client satisfaction.

Mobile Notary Office Initiative Status: Completed

This initiative provides notarization services to individuals who are elderly, disabled, ill, or incarcerated, by deploying a mobile team of notaries across Saudi regions. The services are delivered according to a system overseen by the Ministry.

Engaging the Private Sector in Notarial Activities Initiative Status: Completed

The aim of this initiative is to license private sector entities to perform certain notarization tasks typically handled by public notaries, such as issuing powers of attorney, conveying real estate, and notarizing articles of association.

Electronic Payment in the Enforcement of Judgments Initiative Status: Completed

This initiative enables the payment of financial obligations arising from enforcement court decisions through the SADAD e-payment system (a Saudi Central Bank system), eliminating the need for checks or cash. It enhances financial oversight through specialized work systems connected to the Ministry's platforms.

Engaging the Private Sector in Activities Supporting the Enforcement Judiciary Initiative Status: Completed

The initiative licenses private sector entities to undertake specific enforcement activities under the supervision of the enforcement judiciary, helping to improve work quality and expedite procedures for cases submitted to enforcement courts.

Real Estate Title Digitization Initiative Status: On Track

The goal of this initiative is to digitize all real estate documents, including records, reports, and transactions at judicial authorities. It also aims to digitalize the processes for real estate titles.

Integrated Notarization System Initiative Status: Completed

This initiative involves the complete digitization of the notarial system, covering powers of attorney, declarations, probate certifications, articles of association, and property notarizations. Additionally, it aims to automate all administrative and ICT operations supporting notarization while providing statistical reports to inform decision-making.

Establishment of the Support and Liquidation Center Initiative Status: Completed

The Support and Liquidation Center is tasked with liquidating estates, bankrupt companies, real estate funds, and distressed real estate partnerships. It handles cases referred by government and judicial authorities or directly by concerned parties, following regulatory procedures and international best practices.

Implementation of Child Custody and Visitation Rulings (Shaml) Initiative Status: Completed

This initiative aims to establish centers for implementing child custody and visitation rulings, enhancing service quality while safeguarding family privacy and children's rights. The centers work in collaboration with the non-profit sector to provide appropriate environments for these rulings.

Raising the Kingdom’s Global Ranking of the Judicial System According to the World Bank Initiative Status: Completed

This initiative focuses on improving the Ministry's internal procedures and regulations directly related to the Kingdom’s global judicial ranking. It aims to enhance service quality for citizens and foreign investors by aligning with international standards recommended by the World Bank.

Development of the Commercial, Labor, and Appeals Judicial Systems Initiative Status: Completed

This initiative designs a performance management program for courts to shorten litigation timelines while ensuring high-quality judicial output. It also enhances client service and improves the court work environment by implementing a unified standard identity across courts.

This initiative focuses on digitizing and archiving all judicial documents, including those related to the judiciary, real estate, notarization, enforcement, articles of association, and probate notarization. The initiative involves converting over 300 million paper documents into digital records.

Development and Preparation of the Real Estate Data Structure for the Real Estate Market Platform Initiative Status: On Track

The initiative aims to restructure real estate data within the Real Estate Market platform by organizing it into governed and classified categories according to best practices. The initiative ensures that all necessary information for real estate transactions is clearly presented, while also linking real estate databases to relevant entities to prevent data duplication or conflicts.

Developing Financial Services for the Justice System Initiative Status: On Track

The initiative seeks to enhance and streamline financial services within the justice system by establishing specialized units for all financial operations. This includes implementing governance, financial standards, and risk management procedures. This initiative aims to develop sectors that support the judiciary, such as legal professionals and expert witnesses. The goal is to enhance efficiency by establishing global best practices for managing legal and administrative work, offering legislative and knowledge pathways, and creating regulations for these sectors in collaboration with the Saudi Bar Association and relevant professional bodies.
